The International Social Service (ISS) is organised as a network of national entities coordinated by a General Secretariat in Geneva. ISS is governed by an International Governing Board, International Council and a Secretary General. The General Secretariat has two main functions: to assist the Secretary General in coordinating the network and to serve as a Center of Expertise in Child Protection.
