Cross Border Casework
Cross Border Casework is at the heart of what ISS does. ISS members provide psychosocial and legal support services through international cooperation to address situations involving individuals or families affected by cross-border issues.
Building on its extensive experience through cross border casework management, ISS’s advocacy efforts aim to impact key stakeholders through regular interactions with governments, UN agencies, professionals and targeted projects.
Research and Knowledge Sharing
ISS conducts evidence-based research and analyses laws and policies. It also shares promising practices, global trends, and practical tools to enhance child protection systems and cross-border mechanisms. An online resource library is available to support this work.
Training
ISS organises professional training workshops for the social workforce, including ISS members.
Technical Assistance and Capacity Building
ISS provides technical assistance to national authorities and child protection professionals with the aim to strengthen child protection systems.
