Free text | Report of a conference (London, 5-6 March 1997) organised by the Refugee Council and the Refugee Education Initiative of the Institute of Education, London University. The conference was complementary to a policy seminar held in June 1996 organised by the Refugee Council's Working Group on Refugee Children (Report: Planning for Children's Needs - asylum seeking children and child care policy). The report contains sections on different workshops addressing issues concerning refugee children, as well as the presentations by various participants to the conference including Damien Ngabonziza, Secretary General of the International Social Service: The International Perspective. Section 7 contains a list of resources with information on available services, publications and projects to help refugees. |
