| Free text | This report has been drafted by Raffaella Pregliasco, with the scientific coordination of Joseph Moyersoen and Erica Bernacchi, for ChildONEurope, the European Network of National Observatories on Childhood. It compares the legislation and practices of domestic and inter-country adoption in 20 European Union countries. The adoptability of the child, information and selection of prospective adoptive parents, post-adoption services, follow-up of the schooling of adopted children, adoption of disabled children, the adoptee’s search for origins: most of the stages of the adoption process are addressed. |
