| Free text | Presentation of adoption from the point of view of the relationship that will be established between the child and his adoptive parents. In viewing adoption as the best solution for children who cannot be raised by their natural parents, the author insists on he premise that adoptive parenthood must be prepared with care to avoid failure. He also takes the cause of abandoning mothers for whom he feels society does not give adequate support when they make the decision to relinquish their child at an early age. This, in turn, produces a situation which prevents the child from having the best chances of finding a permanent home through adoption. |
