Free text Presentation of analyses of laws on adoption realised by the International Social Service, in the framework of its International Center for the Protection of Children in Adoption (ISS/IRC) and in collaboration with international experts and national jurists. This publication is meant to be a useful tool for central authorities, competent authorities and accredited agencies, who have to take decisions for the protection of children coming from a wide range of States and who are to be received in a wide range of other States. The analysis is planned to cover some sixty countries. Only adoption of minors is covered in the publication. Intercountry adoption is analysed in both "States of origin" and "receiving States, and a collage of main legal texts relating to the subject is included (First issue was published in 1996 and the last one in 2005). Documents are either in English of French.
