Free text | Report that gives an evaluation of the situation of institutionalized and potentially adoptable children in Romania. The authors discuss the lack of child protection structures outside institutions - foster care is practically non existent. The effects of institutionalization on children's health is terrible and therefore it is recommended that adoption agencies be aware of these and put into place proper pre-assessment and post adoption services for internationally adopted children |
