Free text | Undated document (post 1981). Review of outcomes of intercountry adoption in Sweden through the study of a number of families having adopted older children mostly through Adoption Centre Sweden and the Swedish-Indian Association. Relationships developed within the adoptive family and language acquisition are central to the study. The author describes such adoptions as a "square" rather than the often-used expression "adoption triangle", the fourth corner being that of the society and the environment which is to receive these children and to which it is to adapt. |
