| Free text | This research explores the conditions and lives of the mothers who relinquish their child for adoption. Based on qualitative research, life stories were collected and analysed in connection with the local social context. all mothers were confronted with the absence of a real choice due to important social and family problems. This research gives mothers the opportunity to voice their perspective and it investiagtes structural mechanisms located beyond the mothers'individual reach. |
