Examples: Volume 17 No 1 (1991) - Article entitled: Access to adoption records: a short comparative study of the law in four Commonwealth jurisdictions by Roger Rose on legislation permitting release of birth and adoption records to adoptees or natural parents of adoptees (p 342). Vol 18 No 1 (Jan. 1992) - adolescents in Australia - giving consent for adoption of their child (p 92-94); report on the success of the new Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act of New Zealand (p 369-370). Vol 18 No 2 ( April 1992) - UK law on foreign adoption to be tightened - NGO-ISS's help sought in establishing help line for advice to would-be adoptive parents and information for social workers. Vol 19 No 1 (1993) - Minister critizes dogma-ridden view of adoption: Homosexual or lesbian couples, and single people, should only be able to adopt children when councils cannot match them with suitable married couple.
