Free text	This bilingual document (English and Chinese) is a report of the first year of Child ambassador's scheme. This project has been initiated by Against Child Abuse, the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF and the Hong Kong Committee on Children's Rights to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the UNCRC coming into effect. The organizing Committee and 20 Child Ambassadors joined hands to arouse public awareness on the UNCRC and promote children's rights in Hong Kong. It also provided an excellent opportunity for children to put their right to participation into practice. Among the Highlights of this first year of the scheme were the selection and the training of the Child ambassadors aged from 12 to 16 and a visit of one week in Switzerland to meet with the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child and other International organisations.
