Free text Report on the results of a pilot programme for teenage mothers in Jamaica: Teenage Mothers Project supported by the Bernard van Leer Foundation between 1986 and 1996 where around 500 young mothers were given support and assistance with their children. A sample selection of participants was interviewed to find out outcomes in a number of areas since their involvement in the project. The results were very encouraging in the impact on these young women of the counselling and support, as well as early stimulation programmes for their children
