Free text This study it is the result of a intervention project on the care of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), as well as households and communities coping with the care of affected children in Botswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe. The project consisted in two components: firstly funding and technical assistance directed at interventions to assist OVC; and secondly research to develop a better understanding of the situation of OVC and towards the development of best practice approaches for interventions.
