| Free text | The Association François-Xavier Bagnoud exists since 1989 and has promoted and supported children's rights, health and human rights, and pediatric HIV/AIDs initiatives in more than a dozen countries. There are eight AFXB houses for young children suffering from AIDS in Brazil, Colombia, India, Thailand and the USA. There are other HIV/AIDS projects of support to families in Uganda, for Uruguay's street children, for chidren of sex workers in Goa, and sex workers in Burma. This publication contains articles on studies on the issue of HIV/AIDS epidemic and its effects on families and children. |
