Free text The author, doctor in psychology, initiates a reflexion about the integration of the adoptee in his/her new family. She tries to understand the difficult work the psychism of the child has to assume to evolve from the fracture of his/her abandonment to his/her acceptance of his/her adoption. Doing this, she explores the mechanism of attachment of the child to his/her new family and how an adoptee can reconcile with his/her existence of abandonned child and come to a "new birth". To sustain her reflexion, the author relates the story of about ten families who adopted one or several child(ren).
