Free text | These 7 Core Issues in Adoption were first formulated by the authors in the March/April 1999 issue of Adoptive Families. Their aim is to show that adoption does make a difference to those directly involved in it, and that the issues of loss, rejection, guilt/shame, grief, identity, intimacy/relationships and control/gains apply to the adopted person, the adoptive parents and the birth parents. |
