| Free text | This publication presents some projects which aims to increase awareness of the public regarding children living in residential care. It intends to raise the level of knowledge among the professional groups which deals with children's placement. This publication also demonstrates a pilot project to prevent abandonment and to prepare institucionalized children for their adult life. This leaflet shows some testimonies and experiences of children who grew up in residential care and personal experiences of the caregivers who were involved in this kind of child care system. |
