Free text | History of the convention, mechanism, impact. Report of joint mission in former Yugoslavia: DCI, UNICEF, UNHCR, in collaboration with the Hague Conference on Private International Law, undertook a joint mission to Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia-Montenegro during March 1993 to make a first-hand evaluation of the state of unaccompanied children and to make recommendations aimed at their protection. Europe, establishment of a regional adoption organization: As a result of a seminar organized in the Netherlands in 1991 it was decided to establish Euradopt bringing together official adoptions agencies from nine countries. A code of ethics was also approved. |
