The Israel Section was established in October, 1987. The main areas of work have been: family reunification of Ethiopian-Jewish children, child labour in Israel, the rights to education for all children in the country, monitoring the situation in jails and detention centers, with a legal aid program for Palestinian minors arrested for security offences.
