Free text This book is the new edition of the book called "L'adoption d'enfants de cultures étrangères - Des réponses aux questions que se posent les parents adoptifs", first published in 2006. It is a very useful guide for prospective adoptive parents in general and even more specifically for those coming from France, Belgium and Switzerland. It describes the main principles concerning inter-country adoption in general, the adoption process and the preparation period in the three countries and gives elements of reflexion about the family life with the adoptee. The book contains a lot of examples, lists of criterias to consider in different situation (how to choose the acredited body, how to avoid trafics...)and stimulate the prospective adoptive parents to think about different aspects of adoption (the rights of the children, what are they ready to accept, how do they imagine their futur child...). The book gives also useful addresses in the three countries.
